Season of Shadows Blog

I’m introducing a new feature that’s all about giving great items to my visitors. I’m doing this to express appreciation to everyone for their consistent support and interest in my site. I’m on track for bringing in between 9,600 and 10,000 visitors this month. That may not seem like mega amounts of traffic, but I’m pretty excited since I’ve only been up and running for a little over eight months now.

I always make it my priority to provide as much benefit for my visitors as possible and to continue that trend I’m going to be conducting, what I call, Giveaways of Spirit. These will be random drawings, held at least twice a month initially, which consist of items pertaining to spiritual empowerment, the metaphysical, mystical, and supernatural. And of course, as we draw closer to Halloween, I’ll be throwing in some cool Halloween items as well.

The majority of the prizes will be DVD’s, CD’s, books and maybe some gift certificates to online stores, but who knows what else I’ll come up with. I promise they will all be top notch gifts- no second hand items here. The average value will range between $25 and $75.

The giveaways will work like this:

1) I’ll post the announcement for the item and all you have to do is leave a comment at the bottom of the post- saying something like, “Enter me,” “Sign me up” or whatever you feel like. The giveaways will be open to everyone. You don’t have to have a blog or website.

2) Please only leave one comment per person. I’ll be deleting duplicate entries. If you don’t see your comment appear within a short time, don’t worry, it doesn’t mean it’s been deleted. It only means it hasn’t been approved yet. I moderate comments every couple of days.

3) All legitimate entries received will be entered into the drawing.

4) Most giveaways will run for at least ten days and will be ended a day or two prior to conducting the drawing.

5) The winner will be contacted by email, and after receiving their consent I’ll post their name on the blog entry announcing the prize.

6) I’ll cover all shipping costs- so the entire giveaway is free. All I ask in return is that you link back to me if you have your own site or blog. This step isn’t required, but it does help promote Season of Shadows.

I’m not sure what days the drawings will begin each month, so keep checking back or you can subscribe to my blog for consistent updates. I’ll be posting the first giveaway early next week.
