Jack-O-Lantern Snowman

One week ago, I posted a “Halloweenie” themed Christmas entry. In continuing with that concept and officially finishing up the winter holidays – I present the jack-o-lantern snowman. This guy would look great with a solitary candle flitting and flickering through the eyes, mouth and nose of that pumpkin head, in the midst of a gigantic snowstorm.
I wish everyone a fantastic New Year! May 2009 bring all of your hopes and dreams to reality, and also provide you with a very spooky Halloween. The 31st falls on a Saturday this year, so that is going to be very awesome!

Carlsbad Caverns, in the southern part of the state, provides summertime shelter to almost 400,000 Brazilian free-tail bats. Every night, near dusk, from April through mid October, the bats make their ascension out of the cave and into the night sky.
