Jack-O-Lantern 16

March 20th, 2009 by John Wolfe

Today’s jack-o-lantern was created using duct tape. Because of my groundbreaker corpses and fixing other yard haunt odds and ends, duct tape is never in short supply around my house. I created the general shape of the jack-o-lantern body, eyes, mouth and stem on the concrete floor and then cut in the details using a razor blade.

I already used chalk for a previous jack-o-lantern, but this time the image wasn’t created from piling up the dust. I wish I knew what chalk colors I used in today’s pumpkin, but being color blind and using art supplies minus the labels doesn’t mix too well. :) While I can see color, most of the time I can’t identify it. That’s one of the tricky things about taking on this project, so if you guys happen to see pumpkins with funky colors, you’ll know why.
