Halloween Handyman

April 30th, 2009 by John Wolfe

Discovered a brand new Halloween site today: Halloween Handyman. While it’s still in its infancy, the creator had this great shot posted from his ’08 yard haunt. I’m a sucker for fog, tombstones and ambient lighting. :) I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on upcoming entries. HH (the owner) has future plans for step-by-step how-to projects. After seeing his cool graveyard, I can’t wait to see what else is up his creative sleeve.

The Search for EVPs: Part 1

April 26th, 2009 by John Wolfe

I just posted the recent EVP (spirit voices captured on tape) session results on You Tube that my mom and I conducted at a local cemetery. While the quality of the disembodied voices weren’t what’s considered class “A” EVPs, I was pretty impressed by the captures. The original recording ran one hour and forty minutes. I spent roughly twenty hours scrutinizing the audio, whittling it down, eliminating what could be explained and creating the video.

There still may be some explanation for portions of the findings, however, after a lot of work, I’m very confident the majority of voices captured represent a paranormal phenomenon we know very little about and it’s my intention to continue exploring it. I hope you enjoy the video. If you are having problems with the You Tube player, you can also watch this installment in your media player by following the Search for Spirit Voices: Part 1 link.
