I know your friends and family mean well, but, in my opinion, if you’re doing something you love, then what better way to spend your time. Doing things we dislike, now that’s a waste. I believe life is meant to be enjoyed. By all means, follow your instincts and follow your passion.

Also, my aunt replied on Facebook. She said, “That was an amazing story. Excellent writing. That kind of detailed writing is hard to come by these days, so it certainly had an impact on me.”

I agree. You could and should be a professional writer of some sort. The attention to detail and mechanics is something I rarely see, myself, aside from my own writing. Seriously, keep the blogs coming.

No problem. My friends and family are always mocking me for having this passion for Halloween. They think I’m wasting my time. I posted this on profile and tagged all who have mocked me in the past, hoping that they would finally understand how much the holiday means to some people. I couldn’t have asked for a better story to explain it to them.

Oops, My bad. It should have clicked in my head because you said it at the top here: “I certainly can’t argue with HER assessment.” Anyway, she’s very smart.

Wow! Thank you so much, both for the nice reply and for adding the post to your Facebook profile. I really appreciate it. I think all of us that are involved in Halloween touch someone in a similar way, but, as you said, I was very fortunate to get to hear the words.

I know you didn’t know this, but Ghoul Friday is a woman. I thought I better mention it, ’cause if I didn’t she might consider having my brains for breakfast instead of coffee. (just kidding Ghoul Friday)
