Thanks for your kind words, Johnny. It's an honor to know you include my haunt with the likes of Pumpkinrot. I'm still lacking sheer volume of corpses, but I hope to remedy that for sure by next year.

Pumpkinrot absolutely has set the bar on yard haunts and it's an inspiration to see his creations progress, each and every season.

And, while I haven't seen your work recently, (I'm wanting to get back to your site soon) you have some excellent talent for corpsing as well!

So, thanks for spreading the love, man...and right back at 'ya! :D

Could not agree more.
2006 was the year I found his site as well. I spent hours on it looking at every picture and video I could find.
The thing is his haunts look like things I've always pictured in my head as relating to Halloween.
My favorite parts of Halloween are pumpkins, scarecrows, witches and cemeteries - he does all of those perfectly.

I wouldn't sell yourself short however. Pumpkinrot is the site that lead me to the idea that you could actually create your own yard haunt props (or artwork really) So when I went looking for howto's on doing these things your scarecrow stopped me dead in my tracks it was so freaking creeptacular and I ended up devouring every inch of your site as well. I LOVE corn fields and you do that perfectly. In fact, I think you've achieved about the same level of spookiness as Rot's. At least from the pictures I've seen.

The other great thing about Rot is his knack for photography and video composition. I look forward to his videos as much as anything else.

Can you feel the love? :-)

cheers
