An Addams Halloween
October 24th, 2009 by John WolfeI’ve always been a huge fan of The Addams Family, admittedly, more so where the old cartoon strips and movies are concerned than the television series, but I still enjoy all things Addams. Yet, I’ve never posted anything Addams Family related at SOS (until today) because I know how highly protective the Charles Addams estate/foundation is with regards to his work, and rightfully so.
That’s why I was thrilled to see Hulu now has permission to carry The Addams Family episodes from the series. In this particular installment, “Halloween, Addams Style,” the family does their best to soothe Wednesday’s fears concerning the (lack of) existence of witches. A seance is organized to bring the family witch (Aunt Singe) back from the grave to show Wednesday that witches are indeed real.

Yahoo! I have to admit being addicted to the show, the house and family reminded me of my own. We never fit into the neighborhood. Hee hee. I’ll definitely enjoy seeing those!

I had an itchin for some Halloween shows while at work and Hulu was quick to bring up a whole list of shows and movies. Hey, did you hear that Hulu is doing poorly in numbers and they’re thinking about charging us viewers to watch the shows. I would imagine that would be like shooting themselves in the foot because if folks aren’t visiting Hulu now, they sure in hell won’t PAY to watch the shows. I know I wouldn’t.
That was one of my favorite shows from the 60′s; my second favorite was/is “I Dream of Jeannie.” Nice posting my friend
