April ‘08 Paranormal Carnival

April 1st, 2008 by John Wolfe

Welcome to the April edition of the Season of Shadows Paranormal Blog Carnival. I’ve once again received the largest group of submissions to date, and they are all excellent. There were a few submissions that I didn’t include, not because the posts weren’t great, but because they just didn’t fit into any of the categories or themes set forth for this carnival. I send my apologies to those that I didn’t include because of relevance. I do want to keep everything on subject to benefit both my readers and the bloggers that are submitting relevant content.

I hope you have an opportunity to visit each of the author’s selections, along with their great sites. As always, the time invested will be well worth it!

Spiritual Empowerment

gia combs-ramirez presents Do You Have a Spirit Ally? posted at The Science of Energy Healing, saying, “The spirit ally, I discovered, is an inner wise friend that helps promote joy and happiness. If you’ve had one and lost one, you’ll resonate with this story.”

Alex Blackwell presents Four Rocks to Grasp in Life posted at The Next 45 Years.

Joan Newcomb presents Adventures In Density And Effort: Life After Death posted at Adventures In Density And Effort, saying, “All my intuitive training and 25+ years of professional spiritual work did not prepare me for the tremendous realization of life after death when my loved one died…”

Debra Moorhead presents My Intuition Saves a Child’s Life posted at Debra Moorhead.com.

Dreams

Amy Miller presents How to Easily Experience Lucid Dreams: by Nicholas Powiull posted at Conscious Flex

Deliberate Creation of Our Reality

Fiz presents Faith: The True Definition posted at The Writings of Fiz.

Expansion of Consciousness

CG Walters presents Who is your greatest ethical or moral role model? posted at Into the Mist, saying, “My greatest ethical or moral role models live their lives as their religion/doctrine/philosophy but based on their thoughts and actions you would never imagine they spend time on such impractical extravagances.”

Alex Blackwell presents Confessions from a Recovering Father posted at The Next 45 Years.

Covert Hypnotist presents What Exactly Is Hypnosis? posted at Conversational & Covert Hypnosis Blog, saying, “Hypnosis entails more than just the trance-like state you see depicted in many movies and television shows, it is a deep and complicated relationship held between the hypnotist and the subject that comes complete with a desired set of goals to achieve.”

Law of Attraction

Dean Lacono presents Religion and the Law of Attraction posted at Law of Attraction for Beginners, saying, “For the religious person, I believe that this New Age we are in, can actually make for a better relationship with their gods and goddesses. Just as offspring learn better ways to ask for what they want from their parents, so can followers learn to ask deities for their desires to be fulfilled.”

Suzie Cheel presents I Used Deliberate Attraction To Get Well! posted at The Abundance Highway, saying, “Driving back I thought well I have attracted this to me and I don’t have time to be sick. I was immediately aware that I had used the word DON”T, so what did the universe hear? TIME TO BE SICK.”

Other

This next submission is not quite in line with the messages I provide in my blogging, but I’m such a sucker for Halloween that I couldn’t turn away a fellow enthusiast. While the main point of the article is about finding the motivation of our fears to better serve professional Haunted Attraction owners, it does provide a nice commentary on understanding the root of fear. When we can reach the root of an issue, we stand in a more empowered place for moving beyond the perceived problem.

Gwendel Rodriguez presents FEAR: Haunted Houses’ Life-Blood - Part 1 posted at MOMster ~ The Scaaary Blog, saying, “A study of fear for Haunted Attraction owners, their customers and the general public.”

Paranormal

Chris presents James Randi’s Million Dollar Hustle posted at Martial Development, saying, “A game theory analysis of the Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge suggests it is a hoax. What is the real story here?”

And that does it for the April installment.

I would like to thank everyone for their submissions, along with my readers for taking the time to check out this edition. If you enjoy this carnival (or have been featured in it), please don’t forget to add it to your favorite social book marking site(s).

Please feel free to submit your metaphysical, spiritually empowering, mystical, or paranormal posts to the upcoming May edition using my carnival submission form.
