Bob’s Burgers: Zombie Lovin’
February 1st, 2011 by John WolfeRecently I’ve become hooked on Fox’s new animated series, Bob’s Burgers. If you haven’t seen the show, it’s about a screwball family and their adventures running a hamburger joint. So far my favorite episode was week two’s “Crawl Space.” Overall, the entire episode was pretty funny, but the part that cracked me up the most was when Tina (Bob’s oldest daughter) makes a weird confession regarding her nocturnal mashup of Night of the Living Dead and zombie lovin’.
Perhaps a clip is in order to better explain her predicament. This entire vid is about Tina specifically, but her hangup regarding night terrors/confusion over being aroused by zombies begins at the 0:54 mark.

Oh my heavens, LoL, that little tease of a clip is deliciously disgusting and I laughed much harder than I should have. Good thing nobody is around, they would seriously question my sanity after actually laughing uncontrollably over just this short clip! This was great John and now if you’ll excuse me it’s time to watch the show in it’s entirety. Thank you for sharing this and posting it. My kind of humor on many levels, as you well know

I’m right there with you on this show! It’s got everything I enjoy when it comes to my sense of humor, without being over-the-top in a cruel way like some of the other adult-oriented cartoons these days. Plus, it’s just so damn quirky, that in and of itself hooked me immediately. Glad you’re enjoying it, too.

I loved the first episode too, with the cannibal theme-especially the group that was so excited to try the human hamburgers. What a funny show!

Cool! I enjoyed the first one as well. Looking forward to this Sunday, since Bob’s Burgers should be back after a two week hiatus.
