In Search of Spirit Voices
January 14th, 2010 by John WolfeContinuing with another paranormal installment of “In Search of,” this episode deals with audible forms of communication from the “spirit world.” Nimoy takes us on a journey through disembodied sounds, phone calls from the dead and communication through a variety of electronic devices.

While our airwaves were already very polluted with physical forms of communication when this episode aired (1981), at least, at this particular time, cell phones and the like could not have been to blame for causing spirit voice pick-ups.
With recorded spirit voice captures reportedly dating back to the 1950s (a time when airwaves were a lot “cleaner”), it seems there is some legitimacy to this form of communication. Due to some extremely intense personal experiences with disembodied voices (both through recordings and real time audible encounters), I believe in this phenomenon.
Admittedly, some of our recent recorded captures from the last few weeks have proven to be interference or random pick-ups from stray electronic devices. However, the ones we believe to be “spirit voices” appear as direct, follow-up responses to posed questions about intimate or obscure subjects.
When these specific forms of responses “appear,” for me, it all but rules out interference from physically based electronic devices. Not to mention, in our findings, disembodied voices (in EVP form), containing specific responses, have an altogether different sound, cadence, repetition and tell-tale click or popping noise about them.
To date, none of these unique characteristics have been found in any of our interference captures. So, there may be a way to decipher the difference between the two types.
