Celtic Autumn
May 27th, 2010 by John WolfeAfter posting trippy vids for the last two days, I thought it would be nice to get a little more grounded in this entry. YT user, BigLoveZone takes us on a beautiful tour of autumn in the Ozark Mountains, accompanied by some great Celtic sounds.

Awww, Mother Earth at her finest
Thank you for posting this John because with all of these dreaded images of what’s happening in the Gulf of Mexico, it’s a nice change, it’s a peaceful change of pace to see such natural and undisturbed earthly beauty.
Thank you a trillion times over my dear friend @}–}—}————–

That brought tears to my eyes–If you could put me into a video–this was me. I look at it and it’s like watching film of my mother and I get nostalgic for my childhood. My mom was not an affectionate woman, but in the woods and the creek the orchards and the bay, I bonded. I look at that and I see my mother. Thanks. You just reminded me of who I am at my core.

Goldie,
Yeah, I can’t even bring myself to watch what’s taking place in the Gulf–it’s too horrible. With things happening like BP’s humongous screw-up, it’s up to the individual to do even more in their own little corner of the world to try to help the environment. Watching vids like this inspires me to make more positive changes in how I interact (and impact) with nature and the ecosystem; of course, there’s also a lot of Halloween inspiration in this for me too.
autumnforest,
That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I’m glad this footage touched you in such a wonderful way.
Pam,
Thanks. I hear that about Halloween!

This video was awesome. It truly caught the escense of autumn. The wonderful colors and the spirit of nature getting ready for it winter slumber. The music touched my heart and I was there in the forest feeling the cool autumn breeze and hearing the rushing water.
Great pick John. Thanks for sharing it with us.
