Cornfield at Night
March 10th, 2009 by John Wolfe
After Halloween 2007 and 2008, I’ve become very intimately acquainted with cornstalks. For the last two years, I’ve spent the better part of October creating the yard haunt’s cornstalk display – sometimes working well into the late night and early morning hours. It’s around this time each spring that I find myself feeling lonesome for a moonlit field of corn.
Thankfully, there are great images like this one to get me by until fall.

Woah, what a kick ass photo!! I hear ya John and by the way was your recent full moon as BIG as our full moon??? The moon looked like it was 200 miles away, IT WAS HUGE! I’ve honestly never seen the moon look that immense before. I had the pleasure of being at work very early this morning and literally had the amazing view of the full moon to my west about to set over the mountains near the coast and the big bright orange sun rising in the east. To see them both at the same time was amazing!

I’m not sure about our full moon recently. I haven’t really checked it out. Now you have me curious. I’ll look after I post this. I love it when the moon is still visible during daylight!
