Corpsing A Skull
September 12th, 2009 by John WolfeI’ve been digging through You Tube user drkreepy1′s channel a lot lately. It’s loaded with great Halloween videos, horror movie reviews and discussions on anything weird. The video included in today’s post is his extremely easy to follow skull corpsing tutorial, using liquid latex and cotton balls. I’ve never tried corpsing with latex, but the detail work sounds very similar to the techniques I use to achieve my rotted look with mache.

That guy did a brilliant job. I think he should just stay in his basement and continue to do videos for us folks on how to do Halloween makeup and other special effects. Cool!

If I had a basement that looked like his, you’d never get me out of it! I love that dark, dank, dungeon look.
