Creepy, Eerie & Vampirella Cover Art
April 14th, 2010 by John WolfeFollowing up on yesterday’s entry, here’s a montage of some of the great retro magazine covers from Warren Publishing’s terrible trio: Creepy, Eerie and Vampirella, set to the music of Jerry Goldsmith. If you were into the macabre during the ’60s, ’70s and early ’80s, odds are you probably remember a few of these.

Wow! I’ve never seen any of those mag’s! If they weren’t on the rack at our local drug store as a kid, I never knew they existed. If you still have any old issues, you should scan some cool pages and show them.

I was trying to remember if those are still around some place or if they got thrown out. I’ll have to go to my parents’ house and dig around in the attic. If I remember correctly, they were all in pretty bad shape by the time I got a hold of them around ’80 or ’81. Most were bought at garage sales and weren’t kept in the best condition by the original owners. If I find any, I’ll absolutely scan some shots–I got a scanner the other day–so, I’m good to go there.
