Dark Ambiance 4
February 23rd, 2009 by John Wolfe
In my early morning Twitter post, I mentioned how great dark and dank basements can be. After all, the basement was where I spent many hours as a child listening to vintage Halloween vinyl. Of course, I also watched a lot of Sesame Street in that same basement, but that doesn’t sound as cool.
Moving on up from the spooky bowels of a house to its highest point; the attic is the featured location for this installment of dark ambiance.
Who says things always look cheerier in the light of day? This photo provides just enough light to illuminate all the places you probably wouldn’t want to look. Speaking of spiders (from a couple posts back), imagine what’s lurking in the crevices of those beams. I love locations such as this. That must be why I do so well in gloomy weather. It can rain for two months straight and I never bat an eyelash.
