Flying Witch
October 11th, 2009 by John WolfePicture it: It’s late Halloween afternoon. The sun is disappearing behind the horizon. Trick-or-treaters are beginning their journey and darkness is preparing to invade every nook and cranny. You notice something ominous circling the sky and soon realize that even the witches have taken flight!

This is such a cool Halloween item. It’s a shame the motor can’t be quieted a little bit more. If you could get her soaring silently through the air, except for a cackle or two — that would totally rock!
The witch goes by the name of Wilga. The entire kit can be purchased at FlyingThingz.

That was cool and a perfect landing, wow! Those airplanes are never quiet but I agree with you, sure would be cool if it was and if the witch could be made a little more life like and not made of plastic. If you flew that around on Halloween night………LoL……..I could see now the trick-or-treaters scattering like ants to find a safe place to hide. That would be kick ass. I’ve never seen this before so thank you for sharing this with us.
Pssst……..got any cookies left

I bet you could rig something similar on a zip line and have it run down from your roof top to the ground out front when a person approaches. Of course, you’d have to be able to pull it back up again and again, but that’d be so cool. Those guys had a great attitude. I love to see people having fun with the holidays!

Goldie,
It would be awesome to fly it over the haunt. Admittedly, though, I would be scared that I might stall it out and down it would come on a passerby! There’s a nice empty lot out away from my haunt – that would be the ideal location to fly “her” in circles. I don’t know squat about RC controlled airplanes, but it would be fun to learn.
autumnforest,
Next to the witch, that was the other reason I enjoyed the video, because of the people having a great time while doing it. You could tell they had worked many hours on getting her to be capable of flight and when it all came together, they were extremely excited. I, too, love that type of enthusiasm!
