Halloween Egg Nog

September 15th, 2008 by John Wolfe

During the 90’s, I worked in several departments of a warehouse grocery store. My least favorite was produce, but a close second had to have been the dairy department, that is until the holidays rolled around. As soon as October hit, I knew we would be receiving our first supply of Goblin Nog or Halloween Egg Nog. While the ingredients in Goblin Nog were always the same as regular nog, it managed to taste so much better. Of course, I have to admit, even my taste buds might be partial to anything related to Halloween. ;)

I did an online search and was only able to find the above image of good ‘ol Goblin Nog, credited to WeirdHollow. According to WeirdHollow, they haven’t had Goblin Nog in their area for years, yet we get it in the grocery stores here every October. As soon as it comes out, I’ll snap a new image.

While searching for Halloween Egg Nog photos, I came across an image of Halloween Candy Corn soda at BrentKMoore. It’s put out by the Jones company. I’ve never tried this before, but will keep an eye out for it as Halloween looms closer, despite the limited edition label on the can.
