Halloween Haunter’s Reality Update
October 5th, 2008 by John Wolfe
Just wanted to let everyone know I’m still working on the fourth installment in the Haunter’s Reality series. Tomorrow should have been my last day of filming prior to editing the footage, but we have received a ton of rain in the last twenty four hours…ugggg! So, I’ll be spending a good portion of tomorrow spreading my corn stalks out and working to dry them in the sun. Soggy stalks just don’t attach well to the display fences. However, I’m on the job; I’m working my mojo to bring nothing but sunny days until Halloween.
Hopefully the video will be up by the end of the week at the latest. In the meantime, here’s episode three, for those who haven’t watched it yet and for those of you who may want to check it out one more time.
Thanks for your patience.

Ahhh yes, we didn’t factor in Mother Nature
You know John, I have experienced first hand just how time consuming it is to video tape yourself doing a project for I did so yesterday to gather some experience with my new “toy.” Of course, I’ve got it easier in that I’m not posting them, thus, no need for the editing detail like you do. Indeed you have taken on a whole new boat load this year with your intentions with your website and I must say, no matter how long we have to wait, WE’LL WAIT
You are well worth the time invested dear friend and even if we had another 2-3 weeks to wait before a video upload, we would happily.
However, you have managed to keep up so many other avenues of interest and finding on seasonofshadows that there is more than plenty to read and look at. Not to mention your wonderful archive as well. Just like windofthesoul, I can spend hours on there and still have more to go
Yaaaaaaa! Sorry to hear about the rain. Knowing your MoJo as I do though, you will have bright, warm SuNnY skies from here out. I’ll squeeze in a bit of my MoJo too
Actually your MoJo is more powerful than you might know cause I couldn’t believe how fast Michael’s Craft Store wanted to eat you up and teach a few classes in their workshop!!! Then I got thinking about my “meditation” the night before……….LoL, see what I mean? This is why I ask permission first
Anyhow, we, your fans, aren’t going anywhere and relish every little bit of tid-bit you add to your site. OH, never EVER in my incarnation have I seen “this”….an UPSIDE down rainbow!!! I’m not kidding, a real upside down rainbow. I can “feel” what this is a sign for but will not express it now. I’m pretty sure you know what it is I’m speaking of. Of course the one time I didn’t have my cameras with me, nuts! We’ve got alot of interesting happenings on Earth right now for October……!!!! This will be a month none of us will ever forget!
All my Best, Goldie~~~

Thanks, Goldie. And, thanks for everything with Michael’s. I may have to look into that in Albuquerque for next year. Since my haunt is going to be an all-out, off-season prep for 2009 – I may have enough time, come next October, to teach Halloween prop building at the craft store. That was a great idea! And please, next time you’re at your local Michael’s – be sure and thank them for me.

Well do John, anytime I can help, do not hesitate in asking. You would make a fantastic instructor and could you imagine…..all the supplies you wanted for free for the class in the store!!! I don’t think one single Halloween ANYTHING would not be overturned by you
The possibilites would be countless, never ending…just like giving a kid candy in the candy shop, giving you free access to Halloween props. LoL, actually they would probably ask you to create props for the store displays. In Georgia they have a craft store called Hobby Lobby which is 12X the size of Michael’s. We don’t have Hobby Lobby where I live though, just Michael’s. I’m going to TRY to stay out of the store as the pumpkin spice candles always grab my attention, well and the spiced apple……..oh and the ginger clove, LoL, see what I mean. That store is dangerous
