Halloween Themed Christmas Tree

November 16th, 2008 by John Wolfe

I’ve located my tree for the holidays. It has artificial black needles and comes pre-lit with orange lights – perfect for an obsessed Halloween nut like myself! I found it through Treetopia. It’s called a Black Tiger Tree and is available from 4 feet all the way up to 7.5 feet tall. Treetopia doesn’t suggest a purpose for it, but I can’t see anything else hanging on it but Halloween ornaments. Now I just need to find some skull garland. :)

I found these and they’re pretty cute, but they are only paper, not the traditional xmas type garland. http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/399921?cm_sp=ps_rec-_-null-_-null Though I do think they would still look pretty snazzy on the black tree.

Thanks, Splatter. I appreciate it. After posting this entry, I did a search and found some people selling some in their Etsy shops as well. Then I thought, “I have some miniature foam skulls sitting in my garage; I should do some quick mache on them and string ‘em up!” Hmm…I’ll see if time allows.
