Halloween to the Max
January 9th, 2010 by John WolfeA Colorado homeowner has amassed one of the largest collections of Halloween decor I think I’ve ever seen. The tour starts in the courtyard, but the real fun begins once it moves inside the home. The place looks like a gigantic showroom for Spirit Halloween and the Fright Catalog… a dream come true!

This was thee most superb Halloween display I have ever seen!!! It must take weeks for them to set everyone up in just the right position through out that very large home. I also adore how not one room was spared; even the guest bedroom got thoroughly decorated. How would you have like to be a kid growing up in THAT house! I bet if you could John, you would deck out your home this way to and be in an absolute state of peace. Well, that is given your cat was ok about it and “allowed” you to do such a thing to his house
Then again, that would be the best party land for any cat on earth with so much to get into and bat around
That’s so cool you found this hun. I’ve never seen such a thing on youtube and reminds me I need to look up the backyard rollercoaster videos. I never did do that. The creators of this display should be properly thanked for all of their great work, that’s for sure. Awesome find hun, as always

that was a blast to watch! those guys deserve a round of applause–a lot of work setting all that up; not run into it and knock it over; and put it all away for the next year! lots of fun…thanks for sharing!

Oh my gosh! I can’t imagine walking around that house in the dark. I’m such a geek that I recognize where they bought most of that stuff, Target, Design Toscano, and Spirit Halloween store. hee hee
They should get an award.

Goldie,
As a kid, I would have been in heaven living in that home during October. As an adult, I would love to be able to visit that house, but then come home later. Though I’m a Halloween freak, I’m such a minimalist when it comes to material possessions that even I wouldn’t want to have that many decorations. But I can sure enjoy seeing someone else decorate with them.
Pam,
Running into it would be one of my concerns. I can also imagine when guests come over, they’re like, “Okay, where are we supposed to sit?” LOL!
autumnforest,
I was the same way, especially when it came to Spirit Store stuff. I recognized the green witch down in the basement and the hanging head with eyelids pulled back as two Spirit purchases. Also, the little girl with the lollipop and the 360 degree head spin was a Spirit product from 2009.
I’ve never heard of Design Toscano. Do they carry cool Halloween stuff?
Dawn,
I was thinking that while watching the video, too. A lot of my stuff just stays out year ’round — makes it easier to locate come October.
