Halloween Webcam Schedule Change
September 21st, 2010 by John WolfeJust a quick note about changing the broadcast time for the Halloween Webcam. Based on viewer response regarding the webcam feed’s earlier start from my shop on Sunday afternoon, I’ve decided to move my regular 8 PM start time for mache/prop work to an earlier 6:30 PM (mountain) start.
I’m also in the process of trying to improve the clarity issues the feeds been experiencing recently. I apologize for the blurred image, but there is an additional app I’m going to try and work with today to hopefully clear that up.
Thanks for the great support you guys have shown for the cam and the chatbox — I really appreciate it. I can’t thank you enough and I want to do everything in my power to make the experience even better for you.

Not a problem John. You change the hours as you see fit, please. Plus with your schedule changing so much for the next few weeks, I would imagine adjustments need to be made along the way. We’re right there with you and would watch your webcam no matter what time of day or night it was
Personally I like the earlier start so I can watch you at work and then again once I come home. I like it that way but as said, I would watch your webcam no matter the time of day. I hope this works out better for your schedule and for your physical aches and pains my friend. You have my support and then some!

If I ever get off of working nights I might have a chance to visit at that time.

Oh, that’s such good news, John!! Thank you so much! That means that K and I can watch during the week and not just on the weekends. In the past your start time was a little bit too late for us on school nights but this will be fantastic!! Yay!! Kieran will be so excited!!!

Goldie,
Thanks for your support! I deeply appreciate it. I love doing the prop work, so it’s totally cool no matter what time of day I do it. My main concern is always wanting to make it more accommodating for visitors and viewers. It seems the earlier schedule is better for most people, so I’m more than happy to move the broadcast time up. The closer we get to Halloween, and on days when I’m not blogging, the cam may be running even earlier (and longer), too, as I’ll be in and out the shop throughout the day.
Yeah, the nagging injuries I’ve acquired over the years mess with me from time to time while I’m doing prop work, but I’m usually pretty good if I go for no more than ninety-minutes to two-hour sessions at a time. You guys will see me step away from the cam every once in a while. That usually lets me get a different view of the prop and it serves to let me stretch out for a moment before going back to shaping my mache. By moving the workshop time up, I can get to bed a bit earlier and that will help for recuperation of my injured areas too. Thanks so much for your concern.
Ethan,
Whenever you get a chance, please do. You’re always more than welcome to stop by the cam and have a chat, my friend. I’d love to have you there, as I know Goldie, Camile, SK Austin, JoeInMemphis and everyone else would enjoy your company too.
Camile,
It’s my pleasure. I’m very happy to hear that works out better for you both! I so enjoy having you and K joining in and being a part of the fun energy with the cam and the chat. It inspires me to know you guys are there enjoying yourselves.
