Happy Halloween
October 30th, 2008 by John Wolfe
I’d like to wish all of you a Happy Halloween! I won’t be online tomorrow, so I thought I’d post this entry a little early. I’m also including pictures of my finished prop. This guy took a total of about five weeks to complete, in between working on many other Halloween related projects. This corpse is the only new addition this year, but it was a great learning experience. I worked really hard on trying to artistically interpret the human anatomy, more so on this prop than any of my previous corpses.
Some great anatomy books came in very handy on this project, along with trying to recall some anatomy courses I took a few years ago. While the texture is still exaggerated and not completely true to the human anatomical structure, this prop definitely represents the direction I’ll be taking my haunt and my corpses for next year.
So, please keep checking back as Season of Shadows is going to full-on celebrate Halloween throughout the year, with more consistent Halloween blog updates and prop work. Thanks for your continued support and have a safe, spooky Halloween!

Happy Halloween John! All year long, you patiently wait for this one moment in time…this whole year comes down to this one single date for you so, though we are all in cyberland right now, we FEEL your immense enthusiasm for this special day. I wanted to just say real fast that it has been my honest pleasure to share my love of Halloween with SeasonofShadows this year. This has been a real hoot as well as extremely educational on more levels than one
Your wide range of variety this year on your website has been most excellent and I would dare to say, perhaps you pulled in MORE of a crowd this year than in 2007. Your videos/photos/stories/thoughts appeal to all humans, male or female and young or old. Without knowing it, you actually have catered to a much greater variety of viewers this year and for that I thank you kindly dear sir. LOVE both of your websites John but you know that by now
Again, Happy Halloween and Scary Spookin ~*~Goldie~*~

An amazing prop! Truly impressive. I can’t wait to see the 2008 display.

Goldie,
Thank you so much! I always appreciate your feedback and great support. As I write this – it’s either extremely late or very early (depending on how you look at it) and I’m in the midst of carving jack-o-lanterns. So I’m definitely making the most of my opportunity for this single date and not neglecting a minute of it. I’ll probably grab two hours sleep and get back at it.
Johnny,
Thanks a lot! I’m hoping to have the photos up soon. If I don’t get the page done right away, I’ll at least add a few in a blog entry. The video I’ll be taking tonight will be in my next Haunter’s Reality.
