Haunt Warehouse
September 20th, 2008 by John WolfeMany people in the home haunt industry are usually good at artistic detail or they are geniuses when it comes to haunting with air and electricity- and rarely do the twains meet. Personally, I’m horrible with electricity and not too hot with pneumatics. I’m far too right brained and tend to view the world through artsy eyes, but Gary, of Haunt Warehouse, has developed a great blend of artistic and technical Halloween talent. His site is loaded with several how-to sections, including projects like the classic flying crank ghost, fog chiller, gravestones, and a great half coffin (appears to be upright and half buried) which I may be incorporating into my plans for next year.
Haunt Warehouse also contains all of Gary’s journal entries, as he prepares his haunts and features great slideshows of his family’s past Halloween nights. I’ve been following his work for the last two years and I always make it a priority to swing by his site as the big night draws near. When you’re a do-it-yourself haunter, every bit of inspiration helps you to deck out your yard with your very best. Haunt Warehouse definitely provides me with some Halloween Spirit….now, if the local dairy would just hurry up and release their Goblin Egg Nog, I’ll be all set!
