With all the different surfaces and the distances involved, it never really diminished in quality. I've seen projectors for outdoor home use during the holidays. It's a shame they don't have a slide in those things that feature dolls! That would work perfectly with your theme. <strong>Goldie</strong>, The idea for the beer ad reminds me of Batman's bat signal or Jackie Gleason's face, on the moon, during the intro to "The Honeymooners!" We had several billboards advertising the "Moon Projection" for some kind of beer. Here's how it was supposed to work: upon the next full moon a beer advertisement would appear on the face of the entire moon. Of course, knowing me the way you do I had a few alarms that went off regarding this but I found it really ticked me off....like a form of space pollution via advertising for beer! Give me a break. I could hear them now, the ET's that is, "those silly humans.........look at what they're doing now!" Thankfully it never got off the ground, so to speak but it makes one wonder, if they can really do such a thing as a projection image on the moon, I could see where holographics image in the sky aren't that far off. That is the most amazing and creative one I've ever seen! I think that's a brilliant idea! Imagine how exciting that was to see it on the walls of the buildings. Oh, it gave me tingles. It must have been quite a good quality project--it came out beautifully. I've thought of projecting onto my house during Halloween but never came up with just what would work. This inspired me.
