High-Tech Haunted Houses
August 7th, 2009 by John Wolfe
This cool Early Show clip from Halloween 2006 provides a glimpse into herds of high-tech haunt props commingling in their “natural,” creepy habitats. The program visited two tech-savvy haunted houses: Bayville Scream Park in Long Island and Netherworld in Atlanta. If you watched “Halloween’s Most Extreme Haunted Houses” on the Travel Channel last October, then you’re probably already acquainted with the Netherworld haunt. It’s a mind-blowing attraction!

I think it’s about time with trends they way they are, that someone comes up with a haunted house that treats the viewers like ghost hunters looking for clues and haunting evidence pops up all over the place while they try to capture it on tape or film. That would be a blast, kind of a simulator for the ghost hunters…

I think that’s an excellent idea! They can make extremely realistic flight simulators. Why can’t they make a super-realistic, paranormal investigation simulator that you actually walk through? It may require some sort of virtual reality goggles, but it would still be awesome.
