Horror Kicks

File this one under clueless for me, but apparently Nike’s released a three pack of horror movie themed shoes for their skateboarding line. The shoes are known collectively as the “Horror Pack” and the color schemes were said to be inspired by three of the classics: ‘Dawn of the Dead’, ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ and ‘Friday the 13th’ – not sure where that leaves Michael Myers, but at least the others received a nod.
Apparently, Nike has launched a new pair each year (near Halloween in the states and during The Day of the Dead in Mexico) for the last couple of years. No wonder my footwear always seems amiss at Halloween – I haven’t been wearing what the latest zombie-slasher-skater is sporting.
