Humorous Halloween Costume Photos
December 6th, 2008 by John Wolfe
This time of year, The Ellen Degeneres Show does a bit called Bad Santa Photos, in which viewers send in pictures of their kids crying on Santa’s lap. I thought it would be fun to take a similar approach with Halloween costumes. This photo comes from The Prettiest Denny’s Waitress – that’s the name of the site, not my two cents, I promise.
It features Mickey (the site owner) as the babushka lady with big brother in tow. Apparently, Mickey’s brother is supposed to be a tree! Great stuff!
If you have a funny Halloween costume photo or know of a site with some hilarious images, please send me an email.

LoL, oh that poor boy….LoL, he can hardly see! Oh my goodness, this photo is so precious! You know how much I love children and this was great. I wish there were just a few more photos down below but that’s ok, nothing that browsing online can’t handle. I should find and send you the photo of my Princess Leia outfit in 1977, when you were just a baby-thing.
My Mom did thee most fantastic job of decking me out as Leia that year with the hair identical, she used one white sheet to create my gown, and a beautiful gold chain hanging around my waist that dripped down the side of my leg. I remember a group of boys my age coming up to the door, saw me, and dropped their pumpkin containers screaming, “IT’S PRINCESS LEIA, IT’S LEIA!!!!” They actually thought I was the real thing. Hey, Mom’s good at what she does, what can I say. I’ll have to track that down for ya. Also I’ll call and see if my nephew got dressed up as a green dragon. He’s growing soooooooo fast now, I’m pretty sure he fit it just right and this costume was adorable.
Hey John…..what about a couple more pics of YOU in the eariler days of your trick-or-treating???? Hmmmm?????
Many Thanks, Goldie~*~

Johnny,
Ah, come on, man! I haven’t seen any Dungeons and Dragons action in years.
Goldie,
I remember when you told me about the Leia costume. That thing sounded amazing! Did your mom make the dog’s costume for Halloween this year?
I don’t really have any funny old costume photos, except for one when I was four. I probably stood a little over three feet tall, yet I insisted on wearing an adult Frankenstein mask. It completely swallowed my head and shoulders!

John, LoL….LoL…..ah, come on man right back at you!!! John I laughed my bumm off imagining this cute little 4 year old wearing an ADULT size Frankenstein mask!! You have GOT TO post that picture John. Come now, set an example for us all!! No Mom didn’t deck out Dude this year but the families favorite of Dude was when he went as a surfer dude. She made the perfect mini-surf board that he carried on his back. He had the sunglasses, the shirt, even the surfer shorts! I’ll work on that one too.
Johnny, I agree with John, PLEASE do send in that photo! I haven’t seen a D&D costume in decades…..wow, has it been that long!! Ya gotta send that in.
John, thank you again for this great variety on thee most amazing Halloween website in all of cyberspace

Goldie,
I will definitely post it, just as soon as I find it. I could not remember Dude’s name, in my earlier comment. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the movie, The Big Lebowski, but Jeff Bridge’s character has become sort of a pop-cultural icon. Ironically his name was Dude and he wore a bathrobe, t-shirt and sandals. I’ve even seen “The Dude” Halloween costumes.
Your mom should just dress Dude as “The Dude.”
Thanks, Goldie.
