Jack-O-Lantern 11

This box of brown rice was supposed to be used by December 2006. I’m only twenty-six and a half months over the expiration date. 
Anytime I use food to create my jack-o-lanterns, I do my best to find old, expired stuff to prevent waste. The apple jack-o-lantern was an exception, but I did eat the apple after carving it. This project serves a dual purpose: I get to create and clean out my kitchen at the same time.
