Jack-O-Lantern 3

March 7th, 2009 by John Wolfe

Today’s jack-o-lantern was created using chalk dust spread over a concrete floor. I’m very partial to a variety of triangle shaped eyes, pointy teeth, and high reaching grins. As I look back on pictures of my carved pumpkins over the years, the majority of their faces have these characteristics. If you have any suggestions for upcoming mediums, please let me know. I’ve been tinkering with making a liquid jack-o-lantern, but I’ve yet to find a way to retain its shape.

Join me tomorrow for Jack-O-Lantern 4.
