Jack-O-Lantern Ribs
December 8th, 2008 by John Wolfe
I found this image on one of my old haunts: CreepyLA.com. The Creepy blog features a wide variety of awesome stuff, including lots of Halloween items and paranormal entries. This photo was the product of a pumpkin carving contest in Hollywood. An ad agency by the name of McCann-Erickson was responsible for the prop. I’ve seen people do a lot of things with plastic skeletons, but this is the first time I’ve come across blucky with a jack-o-lantern ribcage.

This was a new take on pumpkin decoration. Did you take a peak at the 10 pics I sent you of other creative ideas for pumpkin carvings??? I thought they were a riot!!! Still thee most unusual pumpkin set up I saw was the spaceship one, and done very well I might add. You find the craziest things pertaining to Halloween online, I tell ya

I did see that back when you first sent it and really enjoyed it, but I’m not sure where it ended up. I’ve been meaning to ask you if you could send it again, as I’d like to feature it in an upcoming post.
The spaceship was at Michael’s, wasn’t it?

Yep, Michael’s Craft Store. I got so wrapped up in other things at the time I totally forgot to go back and take a photo for you. No biggy though. I do believe I still have the pumpkin photos in my files somewhere so once I find it, I’ll be sure to send it your way dear friend. I actually got those photos about 2 years ago so they made such an impression with me, I’ve saved them all this time.

That’s OK about the spaceship, but I am looking forward to the pumpkin photos. They may still be somewhere in my mail, but I’m not sure where. Thanks, in advance, for sending them again.
