Lost Souls: Ghosts of the Old West

June 15th, 2009 by John Wolfe

“Lost Souls” is a paranormal venture featuring Chris Fleming and the Southwest Ghost Hunters’ Association that has yet to air. I’ve searched high and low for a projected release date for this project (the pilot was filmed in 2006), but cannot locate any details. According to Chris’ bio page at Unknown Magazine, “Lost Souls” is on hiatus for the time being.

I’m looking forward to seeing a paranormal series focusing on locations in my part of the country, not to mention one that uses a combination of techniques (including psychic impressions backed up scientifically) to respectfully investigate ghostly phenomena. I’m so tired of seeing paranormal investigators utilize disrespectful tactics of provoking spirits and souls, but I’ll save that rant for another post.

You know John, out of all of the evp researchers on youtube so far, it’s been Chris’s page that resonated with me the most. I like his approach to the paranormal because he not only shows up most respect for them but , he calls himself, a “sensitive”, to the paranormal world. It’s ashame his show wasn’t picked up. It seems the broadcasters would rather air the more disrepectful and glammed up “researchers” than to air a show from someone who is very kind and non-flashy in their approach. Such as tv though, sex and hot bodies seem to get more ratings, even if they are ranting and raving for the camera, than the ones who are just average Joes and doing exceptional work in the paranormal, but don’t get me started ;-)

Personally, I think that this is a perfect combination dear friend. For a human, probably an old soul/spirit, to be naturally mature, thoughtful and caring in their approach to any kind of spirit work AND to be energy sensitive to the vibrational waves of energy around them. What an amazing gift to have that combo. To be soooooo tuned in that, as your recording, you already know ahead of time something is being said, or standing next to you and or visiting you. Chris seems to have all of that, as well as someone else who is very close to me.

I also think it’s important to have a humorous approach to the spirits that are less than kind. Granted they could be traveling with heavy energy and at times it’s hard to shake off but it seems to be that, in the evp recordings, there are indeed the light hearted spirits about us and not so kind ones as well. Chris has encountered both types and I do appreciate his approach to both. In addition, I think it’s an incredible gift to be a “sensitive” to such energies and I hope someday to hone in my abilities to do the same.

On that note, one last time to the park and recording on the mantle while we’re gone. I hope to get some results today. Great posting my friend and keep up the great work for you ARE a tremendous gift to us all right now :-)

    Much Gratitude, Goldie~*~

Forgot to mention, I was also pleased to see that Chris put up some of his ORB shots as well. Thus, giving the impression that he to believes they are NOT dust particles but actual living and intelligent beings. As I’ve shared in the past, I can verbally speak out to them, ask if they want their photo taken and have 50 to 100 of them appear before me. I haven’t heard Chris talk much about them, and I would love to hear his take on it, but I was pleased he included them in this video!

I absolutely agree with you about the work Chris Fleming is doing. It’s refreshing to see someone bring in a balance of psychic/sensitive techniques and validate them through physical evidence, all while not trying to be Mr. Macho and play up to the camera. I’m not sure about his full take on orbs either, but he definitely does include them as part of his evidence.

Hope you had some great responses on your recording.
