More Halloween Photos
November 4th, 2008 by John Wolfe
Until the Halloween ’08 page is up, I thought I would show more preview images from the 31st. I picked up a really small tripod this year. It allowed me to get more up close and personal with the props. I crawled around in the leaves and dirt to grab each shot. I do my best to wait until after the trick-or-treaters have left, but sometimes I can’t resist getting in there and snapping an image or two, just to see how they’ll turn out in the camera’s LCD monitor.
The trick-or-treaters usually don’t thin out until after 9 PM, but they did let up a little earlier this year. We didn’t receive as many knocks on the door as years past. Maybe the whole Friday night thing took a lot of them into Albuquerque for parties, mall walks and other Halloween socials. There were a couple of cool pro haunted houses being hosted up that way as well. I’d like to check them out next year for a Haunter’s Reality Video.

You take excellent photos John!
This is a great collection of your pics.
I look forward to seeing your ’08 page when you get it up.
Again, you have a sharp eye for detail, even in the photos.
Tripods are great aren’t they?
Love the up close, down low photo taking.
How MANY talents do you have John….geez
