Pumpkinrot: The Hollowmen

August 19th, 2009 by John Wolfe

Always a source of incredible inspiration, each year, as summer slips away, I find myself revisiting Pumpkinrot’s excellent Halloween videos. In the process of reviewing the collection this morning, I came across a recently posted (on You Tube) Halloween 2008 special edition video. Re-released with a new spooky audio track, specifically created for the footage, here’s The Hollowmen:

Wow!! Today’s my day off and I’m devoting it to making my Halloween party decorations and this film inspired me about layering the creepy things to make a pathway through them for the grand entrance. Thanks!

Wow, his corpses are amazing and that is one hell of a spooky yard haunt. A haunting, such as this one, would really concern me while approaching the house….never quite sure what’s going to move and scare me right out of my UGG boots ;-) This soundtrack however is DIVINE!!! Now THAT’S what I call the perfect spooky music and again, I find it rather relaxing to listen to. I think I’ll play this a few times just to hear the sound track. Thanks for sharing my friend and WHAT did you think of the photo I sent you???

    autumnforest,

Very cool! Glad to know it inspired you as well.

    Goldie,

That’s the beauty about his haunt – there’s no concern over movement – it’s all static, so you’d be safe. :) I agree, the music is great. Haven’t pulled up the photo, but will e-mail you when I do.
