Sebastian’s Voodoo

April 7th, 2010 by John Wolfe

From the mind of Joaquin Baldwin, better known as zell777 on YT, comes the spooky animated gem, “Sebastian’s Voodoo.” In this short, a witch doctor’s tormented pincushion takes matters into his own hands for the good of his fellow dolls. The visual effects in this film are stunning, and look to be on par with creations by animation studios like Pixar and DreamWorks!

This was creepy! Yet so sad too. I do agree, it seems to be along the line of Pixar animation. Their use of color was perfect. Great find yet again John. Job well done :-)

    Beautiful and sad. Great find.

Absolutely incredible coming from a single person. You’d think a studio of people had been working on that for weeks. Very powerful for having no dialogue, also.

    Dr. Necropolis,

You’re so right. Watching this, I immediately assumed it came from a major studio–then I dug deeper into zell777′s vids and found out Joaquin did this on his own.
