Snickers on Halloween
January 4th, 2011 by John WolfeThough I’m notorious for not watching much television during October, I do try to catch “The Great Pumpkin” and a few sitcoms that get into the Halloween spirit. Naturally there’s always a lot of cool Halloween ads to check out along the way, however, I’ve never seen either one of the Snickers Halloween commercials in today’s entry. Not sure how I missed these two, but since they’re new to me, I was hoping they might be new to you, too.

K-mart had a fun series of Halloween commercials this past year. This one was my favorite (the others are also there).

lol I didn`t see the first vid. But that was pretty finny. The second vid I seem a few times and the mask and voice the kids use is creepy. Nice catch on these.

Haha! Being diabetic, I couldn’t keep all that stuff around, so I took some of it to work and left it. However, DH wanted all the snickers and other yummy chocolate bars, so I made him hide them so I wouldn’t have to look at them every day.
Darned if he isn’t STILL pulling those bars out and eating them! I swear, I don’t know what’s wrong with the guy….

I’m a lot like DH!
Though I’m usually not a big fan of sweets, I go through phases where I get a craving (especially for chocolate) and I start pulling stuff out from stashes all over the kitchen. Then, once I’ve had my fix, I’m good for several more weeks.

Hi John, just thought I would let you know that I’m working at Marshalls Department store. I thought about you over Halloween. I started November 1 as seasonal but they hired me on for permanent.
My hours are wacky and really don’t allow for blog time yet. They change every single day and so I’m never really settled. Plus, I’m contending with the snow, which I hate.
I hope all is well with you and yours and hello to everyone else in here that’s commenting. I know I’m been bad about getting some things done over the past 6 months but you know that Jackie and a job come first and the blogs last.

Thanks for posting these! I had seen (and loved) the creepiness of the “Snickers lady” last year, but never caught the first one… Snickers has some spooky good talent working in advertising!
