Something Wicked

A little synchronicity: a good friend and fellow haunter, Johnny of Through the Patch, currently wrote a really kind blog entry titled Something Wicked This Way Comes. In the post, he discussed the Halloween Haunts of SpookyBlue, Season of Shadows and PumpkinRot. The synchronicity is that he included this site as part of that post; considering Something Wicked was the first working title of SOS. That’s actually a portion of the original banner in the above image. I decided against using Something Wicked for a couple of reasons – one of them being the domain name was already taken. 
Anyway, only one or two other people knew of the original title for this site and he wasn’t one of them. Thanks for the excellent post, Johnny, and thank you for your awesome review of SOS! Hopefully, I won’t keep you waiting much longer on the 2008 Halloween page.

“Fellow haunter” Best compliment I could get from you.
Funny, that was one of my first ideas for a site name as well.
I imagine most of us went through our Bradbury, Poe and Lovecraft wanting to use some phrase from our heroes.
Can’t wait to see the pics!

Absolutely, Johnny! I enjoy your site and really like your work.
I know what you mean. Poe has been one of my horror heroes for a long time. As a kid, his work used to freak me out, but I couldn’t help but still read it.
