SoS H2O Giveaway 2

July 28th, 2011 by John Wolfe

Update: 8/17/11 — This giveaway has closed. I’d like to congratulate Chris Davis of Milwaukie, Oregon. Chris won the SoS 6-pack of Water Bottles and Mio Flavor Enhancer.

Launching the second Season of Shadows Water Bottle Giveaway, but this time I’m giving away one 6-pack, along with the MiO Strawberry, Watermelon flavor enhancer to a single winner. I’m still waiting to hear back from the winner of the first SoS H2O Giveaway, but as soon as I do, I’ll post their name on an upcoming entry. As promised, prior to posting this giveaway, I donated $5 to Unicef’s Tap Project, and plan to do so each time I post a new SoS H2O Giveaway. If you have a moment, please checkout the Tap Project, it’s such a wonderful cause. And, maybe show them a little support and love through a Tweet, blog entry, or status update.

Guidelines for Entering the SoS H20 Giveaway

Please, only one entry per household. Duplicate entries from the same IP will be deleted. These giveaways are really based on the honor system, but I do my best to make it as fair as possible for everyone. There’s no catch here, everything is free — including payment of shipping and handling for the Season of Shadows Water Bottles and Mio Water Enhancer — I cover all costs. To be entered, leave a comment below showing your interest. If you’re reading this via a feed on Facebook or through your e-mail, please visit this link to enter through the comments section: SoS H2O Giveaway 2.

When leaving a comment, be sure to include your correct e-mail address and be certain to keep track of your spam or bulk folder after the drawing closes, just in case. The winner will be contacted through the e-mail address that’s registered with their comment. I will never share addresses, provided by entrants, with any third parties and you’ll never receive unsolicited mail when entering.

This SoS H20 contest will end at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on August 12th, 2011. All legitimate entries will then be assigned a number in the order they were received. One number will be randomly drawn to determine the winner.

The winner will then be notified, via the email address they provided, no later than August 14th. If they don’t respond (with their shipping information) within two weeks, then one more number will be drawn to determine the new winner. Upon receiving their permission, the winner’s name will be featured at the top of this post.

If you would like to see your Halloween or paranormal website or business promoted through SoS and you have some appropriately themed items to give away, please contact me.

    ssflipo13,

I think my announcement e-mails sometimes end up in people’s spam folders so they just don’t find them. Oooooh, speaking of the goodies I love to add to the winners’ packages, I can’t wait to buy more new stuff this year once Halloween items hit the shelves. I’m still pretty stocked up on stuff from last year goodie wise, but I’m always on the lookout for new stuff.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help out the Tap Project, my friend. You Rock!

    Jordan,

I haven’t even tried the Mio flavors yet. If you win, you’ll have to let me know how they taste. Thanks for entering.

  21. Camile Says:

This is so awesome, John! Bravo to you for your great work and efforts and desire to give back!!! You are an incredible inspiration!!

On an unrelated note- A Murder Of Scarecrows is appropriately named because that’s what I feel like I’ve been doing- just murdering them and not getting the crows. Where the heck is the bell? I don’t know how it is that I can’t find it but if you could give me a clue I’d sure appreciate it and it would help save the lives of countless future scarecrows! I’ve managed to drag one scarecrow kicking and screaming into level 8 but then he died an ugly death. ;)

  22. John Wolfe Says:

    Amanda,

Thanks for stopping by and entering.

    Liza,

Thanks for your kind comment about the water bottles. Welcome to the site. I haven’t tried the Mio yet, either, and I’m anxious to find out what it tastes like. Thanks for participating.

    Camile,

Thank you so much, my friend, but I’m just doing small things and hoping they help a little bit. I wish I had millions to give to help others out. You’re an inspiration to me on so, so many levels as well!

Glad you’re getting some Scarecrow game play in there! :) Usually if you just keep trying to “hit” the scarecrows with the things (seeds) growing on the trees, that will shoo away the crows, while building your points and prolonging the game, (even if you’re down to only one scarecrow left) until a bell shows up on its own. The bell seems to just appear randomly on the trees, especially if you’re down to one or two scarecrows left. You then have to hit the bell with a seed to rejuvenate one of your scarecrows taken by the crows. I’ve yet to find a pattern as to how often the bell appears.

    KNOCK KNOCK!
    Who’s There?
    Gargoyle
    Gargoyle Who?
If you Gargoyle with salt water, your throat will feel better!

Believe me they get a lot worse — a lot worse!

  24. John Wolfe Says:

    Barry Huddleston,

LOL! Actually, I think I liked that the best so far.

  25. Annamarie Says:

i would love to win this prize, the water and the mio are the best prizes in this heat…my whole family loves this prize.

  26. John Wolfe Says:

    Annamarie,

Great to hear from you. Thanks for entering. Yeah, the heat’s still up there, but thankfully we’ve been getting some rain lately. :)
