Spencer’s Gifts for Halloween

In conjunction with distributing my fliers at the Spirit Halloween Superstore this year, I also was working on getting them displayed at Spencer’s Gifts. I spoke with their corporate office PR person, but was told they weren’t equipped to handle a lot of outside advertising. In the process, I learned that they own Spirit Halloween, which seems fitting – since I enjoy both stores.
Spencer’s was always my Halloween hangout before we ever had a Spirit Store in Albuquerque. I purchased my very first fog machine there in 1996 and it was a damn good one. In fact, it just barely went kaput on me this year. With a little persistence and more baked goods for the local store, Spencer’s will hopefully let me get my foot in the door in the near future.
