Those eyes are very shifty but that face……ARG, that face. Despite the warning, I hate to admit this but I was STILL standing UP and away from my pc monitor while it played. Plus I can’t stand how rapid the movements are coming from the monsters!! Just extra creepy when it sort of looks human but then moves NOTHING like a human. Yikes.
I just read the ADORABLE comment from Camile’s son Kieran. He sounds like a very advanced soul in a very young body. Clearly his art work is evidence of that. Also upon reading the comments, sounds to me like Kieran has very unique and high vibrations about him. “Ghosts” and such seem to be more at ease around those who are vibrationally different than most humans out there. If there could be one, he sort of sounds like and reminds me of a little YOU, in a spiritual sort of way.
Sorry, I don’t mean to get to deep or spiritual on ya but I just adore the interaction between Camile and Kieran and of them both to you. You have a remarkable way with children John, you truly do. If Kieran is ok with it, I would love to be able to see more of his work from your video updates. I’m rather anxious to see the one of the “legs” so please do keep us all posted sweetie, again if that’s alright with him and his mom.
Thank you for sharing with us all John in the unique and special ways that you do. It’s what continues to make SeasonofShadows the most rare and fascinating Halloween website online my dear friend.

Speaking of reactions to Bedfellows, I haven’t watched it, but there is a YT vid posted of someone’s reaction to the short. You’ve got me curious now to see how they responded.
I so enjoy hearing what Kieran and Camile have been up to. And since I don’t have any children of my own, it’s always a treat when Camile shares what Kieran’s saying or doing. And you’re right, his interests are very similar to mine when I was his age. I was all about Halloween and anything related to ghosts throughout my childhood… some might say I’m still in my childhood!
I’ll absolutely include his most recent drawing in an upcoming video. I’m looking forward to seeing those ghostly legs hightailing it past the graveyard!

Oh, Goldie, what lovely things to say! Thank you so much for your kind words! Kieran is something special (and of course, I’m wildly biased… ::wink::..) and I think he does have a lot in common with John! He certainly loves this site and John’s ideas and words and his garden! I visit a few Halloween and haunting sites but John’s is the only one Kieran has felt a keen and unwavering interest in and I think that says a huge amount about John and the man he is! Every time Kieran sees me looking at Season of Shadows he asks if we can email John!
Kieran is a savvy ghost hunter and the best helper I could ever ask for to decorate with for Halloween. Last year we had 900 trick or treaters and Kieran welcomed every one of them and showed them around our haunt. I was exhausted afterwards but I think he would have been happy to see 900 more. A little like John do you think? Yeah, just a little!

Oh Camile, you are a sweet one. Thank YOU so much for your amazing and kind comment back to me. I realize we barely know of each other but I can tell from your comments that your a very thoughtful and sweet person, which is something we seem to be in short of these days. Plus you and your adorable son have the most excellent taste in Halloween websites
He’s a lot like a little John in many ways. If John did have children, they would be some of the luckiest kids on the planet. He would highly encourage their creativity, speak to them as the exceptional spiritual being that they are, pull stunning practical jokes on them to keep them on their toes….which of course they would reverse on good ol’ Dad
Also he truly would be thee most thoughtful, caring and loving father of all. That would include late nights in the cemeteries searching for EVP’s. Shoot….I want John for a Dad!! If Kieran even looks anything like him……we’re gonna have a talk…lol 
For the same reasons I feel John would make an awesome Dad are truly just some of the reasons why you make the best Mom ever for Kieran. You have an exceptional child who is so talented and open minded, such an old soul, and the two of you get to visit cemeteries and explore through EVPs. You and Kieran will forever have a very tight and rare bond Camile. I can see it now.
John actually had quite the impact on a 3 year old girl I cared for a while. She too loved John’s website and was addicted to the game he posted a while back “A Murder of Scarecrows.” (Is that right John?) She wouldn’t allow me to go the petskeleton’s website to get to the game. For “T” it just had to be through John’s website. Then she would say to me real soft and curious, “So…..how’s John today?” LoL……it was the cutest little thing. Funny though because I had a 3 year old on my lap loving SeasonofShadows and I sat near a 30 year old woman, a year prior, who FREAKED out in a scared cursed way over John’s website. Kids are so great because they have such an open mind. Kieran’s fondness of SoS reminds me of “T” and how she felt about John. She also felt inspired to make John some art work which I framed for her and sent off to him.
John has a way with kids………just like he has a unique way of finding some of the strangest Halloween stuff online. Camile, your a kind woman my dear, keep up the great work your doing with Kieran and yourself because clearly we see the beauty of your love through your son. Your a special couple and I hope we all can chat more often. Please tell Kieran I said “Hi” and that he has ANOTHER fan of his art work out there in cyberspace. Thank you so much, Miss Goldie! Your kind words mean the world to me! I’m sorry I missed you a few nights ago on chat. I made the munchkin his PB&J, fed the pets, sat down on the sofa “just for a minute” and promptly conked out! lol! I woke up about 11:30pm completely dazed and disoriented but well rested and ready for a new day. lol! Kieran said “Poor tired mom-brain! ” Yup. That about sums it up! hehee!
Isn’t that funny how wildly different people’s reaction to this site can be? And I think you are exactly right about children’s minds being more open in that way! I think Kieran is far more open to music and ideas and what he’s willing to try, everything, just in a general way, and I hope he keeps that quality. When he was first born and I held him in my arms I could tell that he was an old soul. He scanned our hospital room with an eye that said “ok, who do I like here and who can I fire?”. I’m lucky that he kept me on staff! lol!
Last year he got sick right before Halloween and it looked like he might not get to go trick or treating. I told him about when I was a kid that I would get so excited for Halloween and so wound up that I would actually make myself sick but that’s how I discovered how fun it is to stay home and decorate and give out the candy. He gave me that same look as when he was new born and in a very serious voice said “Mom, I’m not *that* excited for Halloween.” “Um, oh…ok…um.. sorry.” heheee! He keeps me on my toes and is good to remind me that even though we are alike in so many ways he is still very much his own little guy.
He does look a tiny bit like John but not enough that they could be mistaken for father and son- LOL! The *do* have the same haircut! Kieran is a red head with bright blue eyes and a few freckles across his nose. We actually have pictures up if you are on Facebook I am listed under “Camile Brown Coyne” or on Myspace under “Camile Coyne”. I’d love to see you if you are on either or both places!
I think John does have an amazing way with kids and your example of how ‘T’ was with him just confirms that idea! I think he would make a marvelous dad and/or an incredible teacher! Can you imagine that?!? John teaching?!? I don’t mean to map out your whole future for you, John, but I do think you would make just a phenomenal teacher! The way he inspires us and genuinely cares and his gentle nature would make for an awesome Dad or teacher! Any kid would be lucky to have John in their life in any capacity and I think that is very, VERY true of you too, Miss Goldie! I know I certainly feel blessed to be getting to know you here! Thank you so much for your friendship and lovely words!

Thank you, my friend. That’s very kind. I’m sure the public school systems would see it differently about me being a good teacher because of my unconventional ways.
Likewise, I feel any child (or adult for that matter) would be extremely fortunate to have you as a part of their life! Kieran’s quite fortunate to have you for his mom, just as you are in having him for a son. That’s quite a special relationship between you both.
And I’m extremely happy for Kieran’s sake that he doesn’t really look all that much like me.
If I did have kids and they turned out looking like their old man, they’d never forgive me.

No problems Camile, trust me. I know how the feeling goes of having the intention of doing other things at night before bed but once we get the chance to relax our feet for a bit, we fall fast asleep. That’s happened to me a few times. I’ll get home from a long day at work chasing the baby around, come home, shower, eat and then lay on the couch just for a few minutes. LoL, next thing I know I’m waking up around 2am
It happens to all of us and I figured something like that took place. It’s all good.
LoL, yes, I’ve mentioned to John often how much he would make an incredible teacher, among many other things! John is tremendously patient, hugely loving, thoughtful and compassionate. Out of all of my friends all my life thus far John is thee most amazing, mature, highly intelligent, caring, giving spiritual being in human form I’ve ever known!!! I’ve never met anyone like him and I have a very strong feeling, I never will. John is one of a kind and for those who are “in touch” know exactly what I mean….like yourself. I think that’s why children love him so much; he oozes all of those fine qualities I’ve just mentioned and more. You know how animals can sense fear from humans? Children sense TRUE unconditional love and acceptance from John. “T” was the same way. She didn’t really know him but there was something about the vibe from SoS and from me when I did talk about him that she sensed was deeeeeeeeeeeeeep inside of me. Plus the sound and tone of his voice would capture her
Sorry John but that yummy tone of your voice can’t even be overlooked even by a 3 year old…at the time.
My point being is that I’m not shocked by what Kieran is feeling inside regarding truly appreciating who John is. John is……..well, he’s priceless. No where on this planet or a far away galaxy will we ever find someone even remotely close to the beauty of who John is.
Oh and I just adore the things Kieran says to you. He’s quite the comedian already and he doesn’t even know it yet…….then again knowing him, he probably does.
LoL, and John, your much to silly! As I’ve said before, your handsome, rugged, cute and charming all rolled into one. If you did have a child, daughter or son, they would have the most gorgeous features about them. No forgiving needed, they would thank you for their good looks…..so don’t get me started honey
