Spooky Old House
May 16th, 2010 by John WolfeFilmed at an abandoned home place in Northern Ireland, “The Old House” is loaded with awesome camera work and creepy atmosphere. Set to the wonderfully, dark ambient sounds of Vir Unis, the tension builds to the point it feels like someone or something could jump out at any moment. This vid is about as ghostly as you can get short of an actual apparition appearing–it’s a shame something didn’t show up during the piece.

As an urban explorer, I sooooo appreciate that film! I love finding places like that and getting the mood of them across.. Great find!

I sure wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that old spooky house during nightfall. Those were some very creepy images and I concur with you fully, I totally expected SOMETHING to appear. Of course the music chosen for this video was nicely done and truly sets the mood. Nice frightening find my friend. Leave it to you John

What did you think about the ratty old curtains blowing out through the window? Pretty awesome, huh? That place, if it weren’t dangerous, would make such an amazing location to host a yard haunt on Halloween night! Of course, I’m guessing it’s fairly isolated, so there probably wouldn’t be any trick-or-treaters coming around anyway.
I was very careful in making sure there were no surprise scares in this one. If there had been, I would have warned you guys.
