The Ghosts of Halloween Future

May 27th, 2009 by John Wolfe

I came across this cool ghostly creation at John Rozum’s site today. I wish I knew who created the image, but John didn’t have any information on the artist. This type of imagery along with our recent experiences with paranormal voices has inspired me to make some changes to my Halloween yard haunt. While I’ll probably still continue with the zombie theme for the fourth year in a row, next Halloween I’d like to go with an all ghost theme sans the skulls and bones.

This is a really cool image John! You know how I feel about the Hollywood perceptions of the term called “ghosts” but I’ve never imagned the Casper type or white sheet over a ball of an object, not even since I was little. However, I have always invisioned any “ghostly” figures to look more like this drawing/painting. I absolutely LOVE how they look in this photo John so, yet again, excellent find my friend!

Also, and lastly, you have my FULL support in sprouting “out” to try new changes to your fantastic Halloween decoration. Though I am a huge fan of your corpses, as they do look like the real thing, I would absolutely be anxiously awaiting to see how YOUR ghostly figures turned out. So you have my vote on this up and coming change for next year and I’m excited to see how they turn out. Oh and GREAT discoveries on your EVP research and even the ones you weren’t trying to do. Wow…..right? ;-) Thank you for sharing this with us all, it’s the perfect haunting photo and adore the full moon effect in the background but I have been a full moon lover since I was just a little girl. Look forward to your next posting, as always!

    Much Gratitude, Goldie~*~

I knew it wouldn’t be long, I bought a new recorder today :-) Panasonic RR-US550 with the built in zoom microphone and up to 142 hours of recording time. It was on sale too so I got about $20.00 off the original price. Back in 2005, I used to care for an elderly who lived right across the street from the oldest, and largest, cemetery in my area and totally forgot about it until last night when “my girl in the tree” felt strange. Something was very different about “our tree” all of yesterday. I taped that night and discovered there was a male voice, a STRONG male voice who said my name perfectly. I was stunned and somewhat upset because I felt my “girl” was being stepped on and not allowed to talk to me. Long story and it still gives me goosebumps.

Anyhow, here’s the photo of the old cemetery I’ll be going to today, please do edit it out so my place of living is still private. Thank you John. The place is absolutely massive and there is a map of the grounds so you can see just how big it is. I figured while I’m in the area, I’m going to try and find my Poppo as well and all the family who are buried in that one spot. Now that I have two recorders, I feel well prepared and now, LoL, oh joy, I’ll have hours upon hours of audio to go through instead of 20-30 minutes at a time ;-) Sound like anyone you know? Oh and my new recorder I made sure has the usb port. I’m getting the hang of this thing, slowly but surely. Lastly, my “orb” photos last night were off the chart. I’ve never seen so many in so many frames and one in particular was tremendously bright, I’ll have to make you a CD so you’ll look at ‘em.

    Wish me luck, Goldie~*~

Sorry, I forgot to share with you one more thing: “Terage” guided me to a certain section in a book that I’m reading and it couldn’t be more true with what we are finding out so far….and with most of life.

“Certainly there are many “psychic” powers that are clearly in line with this course. (Being the Course in Miracles) The limits the world places on communication are the chief barriers to direct experience of the Holy Spirit, who transcends these limits in any way is merely becoming MORE NATURAL. Nothing that is genuine is used to deceieve. As the awareness increases, you may well develop abilitites that seem quite startling to you. Yet nothing you can do can compare even in the slightest with the glorious surprise of remembering who you are.”

I simply giggled and told Terage, “thank you for both John and I.” ;-) Like I’ve been saying, the more we tap in, the stronger this is becoming. Ok, off to visit Poppo and clean up their graves. Have a wonderful day my friend~*~Goldie

    Goldie,

I hope your trip went very well at the cemetery and I’m glad to hear you’re working with two recorders now. I’ve found getting your files into an audio editor on the computer is vital to locating all your evidence. Playback on the recorders works okay, but so much is lost without having access to more volume and a few simple tools for clean-up. Thanks for the cemetery link.

Thanks for sharing the passage from the book. You’re absolutely right: the more that door is opened, the more interesting the experiences become – both visually and audibly!

That’s preproduction artwork from “Fantasia.” by Kay Nielson. Remind me towards the end of September and I’ll plug you in this year’s Halloween countdown.

Thanks, John, for the info on the photo – much appreciated and thanks for the offer. I look forward to having Season of Shadows featured in the countdown.
