The Great Halloween Pumpkin
October 1st, 2008 by John Wolfe
Spotted this big guy (in the middle) at Wagner’s Farms. While all of their bins had some good size pumpkins; this one was the largest I could find. After picking it up, I’d have to guess it went between fifty and sixty pounds. That’s no where near a record breaker, but compared to what you find in the grocer’s produce aisle, it’s a whopper. I let him get away, however, since I’m partial to medium pumpkins for Halloween jack-o-lanterns.
