The Jack-O-Lantern Project

March 30th, 2009 by John Wolfe

I’d like to thank everyone for their kind words and support this last week during this difficult time. I hope to write a tribute to my Uncle Jeff in an upcoming entry. His passing has caused me to re-evaluate many things in my own life, including the manner in which I work on both of my websites. For almost a year, I have been working twelve to fourteen hour days, six to seven days a week on internet related projects: from blogging to marketing, networking to prop building and podcasting to answering emails. While I absolutely love my work, I’ve neglected my own health and spending time with family in the process.

I’m absolutely going to continue my work at Season of Shadows (and Wind of the Soul), however, I’ll be scaling back my work hours. Because of this, the Jack-O-Lantern a Day project will be changed. I’ll keep creating jack-o-lanterns but at my own pace, maybe two or three times per week. On a related note, I’d like to thank Paranormal Casebook and Pumpkinrot for their recent support of the Jack-O-Lantern a Day project. Both sites have been really kind when it comes to promoting a wide variety of my work and I can’t thank them enough.

The image in this post was created by Eileen of Paranormal Casebook and features the first twelve jack-o-lanterns of the project. Please, show both sites some love by swinging by and taking a look at all their great stuff.
