Through the Patch
November 14th, 2008 by John Wolfe
Four posts ago, I mentioned a good friend and fellow haunter, by the name of Johnny and our Something Wicked synchronicity. Well, Johnny of Through the Patch is back and this time he’s packing some Halloween heat.
His 2008 haunt incorporates a style that’s quintessentially Halloween. He keeps things spooky, but pure in their appearance. No gore, or blood – just prime quality, “Grade A” Halloween creepiness.
I really like the mummified, almost wrapped-in-silk look of his groundbreaker corpse. If this guy wasn’t the main course on a giant spider’s dinner buffet, then I’d assume he had just been excavated from the Valley of the Kings in Egypt! I love seeing the different mache and corpsing styles of each and every haunter. Everyone has their own unique approach that makes their work phenomenal in its own perfect way.
Don’t miss taking a trip Through the Patch.

Wow! Thanks man!
I was sort of disappointed in the corpse this year but people seem to dig it.
It means a lot to have compliments from someone who’s work I respect so much.

It’s my pleasure, Johnny. Great job!
