Trick-or-Tweet. I think I'll tell the kids they have to say it like that when asking for candy this year, all in honor of the Season of Shadows Twitter feed. I'm sure they'll love that... ya right! I'm not aware of what the official lyrical meaning of "Disturbia" is, but it has its own meaning for me and I like the video. That shouldn't come as too big of a surprise, considering what you see at Season of Shadows. ;) My favorite parts of the song are when she seems to be doing a little self-reflection and talking to herself, asking, "Why do I feel like this? I’m not aware of what the official lyrical meaning of “Disturbia” is, but it has its own meaning for me and I like the video. Do you mind sharing who it is? I'd love to "follow them." A fellow haunter, Johnny, of Through the Patch started a service like Twitter called "Hauntr" back in September or October. I was so busy with Halloween prep that I didn't join. I went to check it out and it appears he's stopped supporting it. I started using Twitter at Wind of the Soul and have really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd incorporate it here as well. So far, through Twitter searches, I haven't found many Halloween enthusiasts as members. However, I always enjoy getting in on the ground floor of something - not that Twitter is new, but apparently it is to the haunt community. I think it will grow on "Halloweeners" over time, especially as they start seeing more sites carrying an rss feed and as we draw closer to the season. My partner (non-haunter) just started using Twitter, and he'd mentioned the idea of adding it to my site. I wasn't convinced that the Halloween/Haunter community would utilize it (I'm also reluctant to add another procrastination enabler to my collection!). At least, not yet. I thought it might be too new for the community to embrace it or find usefulness in it. If you feel like sharing, I'd love to hear an update on your findings when you get going (for example, how many connections you make with like-minded ghoulies; effect it has on traffic to your site; that sort of thing).
