Trix and Treats

After picking up Franken Berry, Count Chocula and Boo Berry cereals, I noticed General Mills dressed the Trix rabbit up for Halloween this year. Lucky Charms received a similar Halloween makeover. Wouldn’t it be great if all companies in the food industry participated in the Halloween spirit and followed GM’s lead?
Imagine the Gorton’s Fisherman transformed into the killer from I Know What You Did Last Summer! Or, The Jolly Green Giant and Sprout turned into the undead! OK, maybe that wouldn’t be too appetizing to the average consumer, but I’d definitely stock up on green beans and fish sticks at Halloween!
