Vampire Exorcism
June 29th, 2010 by John WolfeAutumnforest first turned me on to “Vampire Exorcism” a few months ago on her blog, and I find myself playing it whenever I need a little spooky shot in the arm. The Gothic imagery is totally inspirational for taking on whatever wickedly creepy, creative activity that tickles your fancy. It also doesn’t hurt that the images are backed up by Nox Arcana’s awesome “Night of the Wolf” track from the album Transylvania.

It’s a sure bet I’ll be watching this prior to working on the Angel of Death prop tomorrow–speaking of which, I’ve finally been giving him some attention again. I hope to have an update posted in the next week or two.
On another note, I’d like to congratulate Andrea of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Gene Savage, also of Collinsville, Oklahoma. They each won a packet of Zombie Blood. I was amazed when Andrea and Gene responded with their shipping info and both happen to live in Collinsville! I guess The Sooner State was hungry for zombie blood.

Glad to inspire you, buddy. You inspire me all the time with your Halloween propping and cool video finds and gardening. It’s only fair

That has some really great elements to it. I hope they can make more stuff and get some funding for a full length film. that would be great.

autumnforest,
Thanks so much, my friend. I’m always happy to hear what I do inspires others. Though I put SOS online, I really feel it also belongs to all of you guys who visit on a consistent basis, because your feedback and interest in what I add to the site inspires me all the time. Okay, enough of my being mushy, now I’m off to lift some weights and do a lot of other macho crap [said in my best gruff voice - trying to sound tough].
Ethan,
Glad you liked it. I think this clip is a segment from a full-feature, Russian-based vampire film. Grimstone provides more details about the movie under the vid description and in the You Tube comments. I’m going to look into that myself. I’d love to see if this thing is available for rental.

I really like this short film. The music and darkness leading up to the battle. And the fx are well done. This short should be added ino a full lenght move. LOL I was just reading the reply to Ethan, and it says it`s a short from a full lenght russian movie. Thats great.

ssflipo13,
Cool! Happy to hear you enjoyed it, too. I’ve probably watched this clip eight or ten times in the last couple of months. Stuff like this always gets my Halloween juices flowing!
