Voices from Beyond
April 22nd, 2009 by John WolfeA couple of days ago, my mom (she’s a paranormal buff as well) accompanied me to a local cemetery. While we were there, I recorded almost two hours of our conversations with the hope of catching my first spirit voice (EVP) on tape. I’m happy to say the recording did produce some results. I’m currently working on very light cleanup of the file (noise removal and amplification), with the intention of eventually including the EVP content in a future entry. In the meantime, I’d like to present a collection of cemetery EVP recordings by the You Tube user, Acid Entertainment. Several of her captures have a slightly similar quality to a few of my own.

Hmmm NOTICE the orb activity
Perhaps I should record in that spot at night as well and begin taking more photos of the place. I never thought to record there, as it is not a cemetary BUT, it is hot and active with orb activity, sometimes by the thousands and other times as few as one. This just gave me the idea of recording around the area at night though – night being less active of neighborhood noise, if I can muster the courage that is. It’s one thing to be IN my truck taking photos, it’s another to be out in the bushes at night recording sounds…..might have to think about that one. Regardless, the first thing I noticed was the orb photos she got at the cemetary. Most still don’t know what orbs really are but they do seem to have some kind of conscious energy about them, and color! Reminds me of the crop circles, still to this day, nobody can really agree as to what makes them and there are about 50 different proposals to this notion, of course. The paranormal, it’s interesting beyond human word description.
Oh, your more than welcome for the detailed earlier posting of the theme park. It’s just my way, as you know, detailed in everything I do, think, write, talk about, create, you name it…..I think “Detail” should have been my middle name

As you were describing your investigation at night, I was curious if you were going to be willing to do it. Actually, it’s quite smart to be be extremely cautious about investigating secluded locations at night (even in the day for that matter). Paranormal activity doesn’t freak me out nearly as much as being in a very isolated area. While isolation can be great for silence and no contamination of what you collect, it can be bad if you run into any issues or trouble. Please, be sure and let someone know of your intentions and whereabouts prior to going and coming home.
For me, investigating the paranormal is a big continuation of the work I’ve already been doing at Wind of the Soul. While my work there is primarily based on theory, collecting EVPs (and other means of contact) is based on exploring actual physical evidence of the power of consciousness. I’m enjoying taking a break from theory and working with obtaining actual proof (in my opinion) of consciousness and the personality surviving the death transition.

Thank you deeply John for your concern with my well being and safety. Not many would be as thoughtful to even mention such a thing so it doesn’t surprise me the first and foremost thing you would think about is my safety at such a location. Thank you dear friend
Agreed, by the way! I think if I were a male, I might have less reservation about exploring such places at night but being female, and the “way” in which I’m built + my height (or lack there of) I’m 1,000,000,000X more careful about where I choose to put myself in seclusion, especially at night. Seems I have enough unwanted attention during the day, nightime is just to dangerous for me.
Funny thing is, LoL, I think I would be more scared of the paranormal I might experience at the “sacred spot” than running into a lonely and criminal human being. I’ve had some odd happenings there, at that spot, even during the daytime so I do tend to feel the energy out inside of me. At times the “message” to take my camera there is overwhelming which has = the GREAT orb shots I’ve taken. Other times when I’ve gone there but the feeling wasn’t so compelling, then very few orbs showed up.
Such as yourself John, most would say the evp’s or the orb’s is just our imagination or wishful thinking, which of course it’s not and we understand why it is society says such a thing. However, as with many things in life, it all comes down to your actual and real experience on a more personal level with whatever it is your exploring in life. I’ve been told by few that my orb shots are dust particles and that’s ok if that’s what they want to think they are. I know first hand that in the first few frames I had no orbs show up and then upon ASKING for them to show up for me, if they wanted to do so, next thing I know I have hundreds to thousands of them right in front of my camera, and all over the place. Unknown to most, I HAVE experiemented with them, both at the “spot” and in my Mom’s backyard. They, like what makes evp’s, ARE some form of conscious energy/being. They DO respond when asked……….sort of like that invitation thing I was sharing with you the other night, there is something about us ASKING them, giving them permission, in which there will be quite a show in front of you, or around you of course.
Oh – baby monitor update – yesterday after B got up, the sounds started in again John. Get this…….at first it was one knock every few minutes or so then I said outloud in the house, near the room, “if you desire for me to tape you, please give me 3 knocks, one right after the other.” About 20 minutes went by, I was in the office with B and INDEED 3 knocks came through the monitor really loud. As if to say, “YES Goldie, tape me!” I brought in my digital recorder, asked a few questions and left it in the room and shut the door. There were lots of knocking sounds while taping and upon playing it back, there was only one very faint response I got in a voice form. Very faint but it’s there. It was a male voice (yikes) and I asked the Q, “are you with or attached to the girls?” The reply was “no.” I asked the same of the house, that spot and no answer was given which is what made this NO even more pronounced. After the taping ended, no more knocks happened the rest of the day, none! Also, I’ve been near their bedroom when the knocks have happened and you cannot hear them without the baby monitor. Really strange stuff huh? Hmmm, I wonder what it’s all about………there went my curiosity button big time
Woops, sorry so long John, please forgive me. Thank you for letting me share with you, I don’t know what I would do without you and for what it’s worth, I personally DO look forward to when you can post again at Windofthesoul, especially about the topic matter we were touching on the other night. It’s always good to hear your opinion and outake on such things in life, in this day and age that we live in so I DO indeed look forward to the posting
