Zombie Cake

December 8th, 2008 by John Wolfe

They’re coming to get you Barbara [Jo]! Thanks to Anita’s Owl Creek Bridge, I found some fantastic Halloween confectioneries by “Barbara Jo.” Barbara is to batter and modeling chocolate, what most home haunters are to mache. She created this undead, corpse cake entirely out of edible items. Amazing work!! If you’re looking for something even gorier, check out her Thorax Cake. It comes with ribcage and internal organs.

TheyreComing.com is the place to be, if you’re looking for amazingly-dark, edible ideas for Halloween.

Wow, what’s the hair made of John? Do you know? What a photo that would make, someone getting ready to eat the eyeball out…OR slowly licking the blood off of the cheek-bone. I know, I’m weird….but hey, I’de do it for a photo opt ;-) “Always the ham” my Mom says ;-)

I can’t remember, Goldie, but it too is edible. Barbara concocted her own tool for quickly slinging the hair in place before it cooled. She has an entire how-to on the website.

You want to eat the eyeball, huh? Then check out the site, she made an entire plate of eyeballs too! If I had a pic of you chowing down on a zombie cake, it would definitely get posted.

LoL, gee thanks John ;-) Trust me, I would make it a picture well worth your while…like Mom said, I’ve always been a ham in front of the camera my entire life. With a cake like that, you can’t miss the photo opportunity to devour some goulish face. What would be really cool is to have some of that red icing dripping out of my mouth and down my chin…..like some flesh eating monster. LoL………oh lord John, YOU HAVE created a Halloween Monster out of me….Aaarrrrgggggg (running with my hands in the air!) ;-) LOL!

I knew you would eventually see it my way. :)

LoL…..anytime John, anytime dear friend! What better company to be in than yours ;-) LoL…..you are a smart ass aren’t you ;-) I find the wheels in my mind now turn in a more Halloweeny fashion, “Oh this would make a great goulish photo….yes, I must do it and see what John thinks!” Looks like you help to create more than groundbreaking corpses this Halloween now doesn’t?? ;-)

  6. John Wolfe Says:

Yeah, apparently I’ve been able to transform a friend into a fellow Halloween enthusiast. As Loverboy’s 80’s hit goes, “I’m lovin every minute of it.” :)

  7. Goldie Says:

LoL, oh my dear friend, so am I………..so am I ;-) More than you know actually and perhaps some day you’ll understand fully, though you are feeling “some” of it now ;-)
